Grandpa's 80th Birthday

So work wouldn't let me off for the whole day on Friday the 9th. On account that one of the biggest jobs was coming that day. Needless to say it didn't show up and I could have used the whole day to get the flowers done for Grandpa's party. Well work did let me off at 1. Still it was hectic. I went to the building where the party was going to be and found no one there. Then I called my sister and asked her if she had picked up the flowers from Costco yet. She said that she was on her way right then, which made me even more stressed. Here I was at the building waiting for the flowers that I had 4 hours to do. I had to arrange a buffet table arrangement, a sign in book arrangement, two banquet table arrangements, and four center pieces. I was panic ed. My dad the showed up with the table cloths and the vases I had packed in his car the night before. He then went back to work. Then my Aunt Becky brought the rest of the vases needed and left. Then the flowers arrived and I hurried my best to make some fantastic arrangements. 2 of grandpa's friends arrived very early from out of state and made me more nerves that I wouldn't finish in time. My mom arrived and started telling me I had 15 min. to finish. We also had to clean up the mess that I had made from cutting and preparing the flowers. I got everything done just in time for the guests to arrive. I was glad of that and everyone was amazed at how the arrangements turned out. I was quite proud about them to considering how much time I had. All in all it turned out to be a great evening. I might even get some business out of it.
