Tuesday July 22nd Josh and I took Ally off her oxygen. We had called our Pediatrician with the questions on the monitor( which I really didn't trust), His nurse called back at the end of the day and said that the doctor said to take her off. I was shocked and a little worried. The nurse said that the doctor told her that Allyson didn't need it anymore. This was so great. My dad was having a a birthday dinner and we were so exited to tell the family the great news. Josh and I were very worried that night and kept a close watch on her. I still get up in the middle of the night and go and check on her. I feel her head and hands to make sure they are still warm. But she hasn't had a problem since. She is doing great without it. I only hope that we can get her feeding tube out soon. She still needs to eat more during the day and gain a little more weight. But she is doing awesome.
