Yesterday Josh and I went to visit Ally for her birthday. The nurse had just finished giving her a bath and was planning on changing her bedding linens. She asked us if we could hold her while she changed her bedding. We were way excited. The first time ever that we have been able to hold her period. At first we had a hard time holding her because her nasal tube would keep falling out. In one of the pictures you can see my had holding the tube in. Then Josh figured out that he could hold her in one hand and the tube in the other. This was better for me because I could get better pictures of the momentous occasion. I wanted to hold her too, but thought it would be a good way for Ally and her dad to bond.
