Hello all-
Just wanted to give u an update on Ally today. Josh and I go during the day on Wednesdays. We have NICU parent hour at 12:30 pm. She is doing great. She had a head ultrasound and a heart ultra sound on Tuesday. The head ultra sound was the same as the last one and the last one was normal. The heart ultra sound was to check her Pulmonary Hypertension. The resident said that they could see not as much tension to put a % on it. This means she is getting better and better. She is now on 21 ml of food and seems to be tolerating it fabulous. She is one tough cookie. They are weening her pain meds too. Her respiratory rate has also gone down to 37 I think (smaller % better) and her nitric oxide is down to 4% from 10%. Also took some pictures to help everyone know what the C-PAP is. You may notice the bandage on her chest. That is the Central line. An oober IV that can stay in for longer than other normal IVs.
