It has been quite the week. We have had some ups and downs this week. Sunday and Monday went great. Monday we had a doctor's appointment that went well. Tuesday was not that great. Ally had a really hard time keeping her food down. She spit up after every meal. Not just little amounts but lots. I called one of our primary nurses. She said to cut back on amount and feed only straight breast milk. I did that and it didn't help. She still threw it up. I called again and she said to call the surgery department. They told me that if she threw up the next feeding take her in to the ER. I was panicked. Josh wasn't feeling well and couldn't help very much. Thankfully my mom came over and fed her. She took it well and we didn't have to go to the ER. Yay. Yesterday was a little hard too. She seemed to have a fever and was very unhappy the whole day. She also had some congestion was having a hard time breathing. I called the doctor and he had me come in. She didn't have a fever. And he said she probably had some mucus in her through and nose which he said to suck out with the bulb syringe. He reduced her cal intake and explained what I needed to do when I had no more milk to mix with formula. I felt a lot better. She still was fussy all day and didn't really sleep. Lets hope today goes much better.
