The Christmas Tree Chore!!

his year I decided to put up all of my trees. I have three. Two are already decorated. A big one, Evie's Angel tree(festival of trees 2007) and my very first tree the cow tree. My big tree was a pain to get up. It takes all day to put it up. You have to put it up brach by brach. I was so excited to decorate it, but then I couldn't find the lights. I looked everywhere in my house and could not find them anywhere. I even looked at my parents. (since we show our house a lot, we store lots of things in their basement. Now that Manda has a house.) Luckily My mom and I had to go to a Walmart last night for some things. They had lights there for $2. She was nice enough to buy me two sets. I got red lights and was going to put them on the tree, when I realized that one of the sets was pink. So at 12:00 am last night I went to Walmart again to exchange and get the right ones. You think that taking something back to exchange it wouldn't take you long. Especially that late at night. It took me 20 min.s to get a refund and 10 to find the right color of lights. Ally and I did have fun decorating the tree though. She got to play with all the ornaments( except the glass ones) and got very glittery. She also liked the lights as I was putting them on the tree. She had fun with the ornaments and laughed at mom singing and dancing to the Christmas music. Who thought decorating a Christmas tree would be such a chore. Isn't that suppose to be fun?
