Ally is in the hospital again!

So Ally and I went to the doctor on Friday. She was coughing and gaging and throwing up. Dr. checked her oxygen saturation and told me that 78% wasn't that great. He then said the we should probably go to primary's to check for RSV and to make sure she is ok. So after the Dr. visit we headed to Primary's. I called Josh and work and told him we would be in the ER. He asked if he should try to get of work and I said yes. They check her oxygen saturation again and it was the same. The told me that she was breathing 100 times pure minute. Way to fast and she was working so much. The also decided to do a chest xray. I didn't really think much of it because they did one last month when we took her in for a fever. After waiting a very long time(ER visits are never fast) they came back and told us that they were concerned about the xray. The told us that it looked like her diaphragm patch had popped again and some of her intestine was up in her chest. They took it to the specialist to make sure there reading was correct. They then did a procedure to make sure that was the problem. Sure enough that was the problem. The surgeon came and explained. He said he wanted to do surgery on Saturday. He was concerned that the intestine might not be getting enough blood flow and might be infected. This will be the 3rd time her diaphragm has been repaired. Surgery took 5 hours. The had to collapse her left lung to get to the intestine which was in her back. Surgery went well and the Surgeon said that she did great. He also told us that he had to bring another surgeon in to help because it was a little more complicated then he had thought. He also told us that on a scale of 1 to 10( 10 being the worst and 1 being the best) Ally's Diaphragmatic Hernia was a 8 to 9. She really only has a small piece of her diaphragm. This makes it harder to repair because there is nothing to sew the patch too. This surgery was extremely difficult because of this. They basically sewed the patch in to what ever they could find. After surgery they took her to the PICU unit.(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) She was there for what seemed for forever.During surgery they only put oxygen to one lung and due to the pressure and time, that lung started leaking into her chest. They've put in a chest ring to release the air, it's still leaking. They had to change her intubation tube to a different one and are putting in a central line. It's quite an ordeal. She is on 100% oxygen and high pressures. The doctor said he "is concerned with how much support she is requiring" and "she's not out of the woods yet". We got to see her and she looked Just like Evie did when she died. I lost it. I was so scared. She is now doing lots better. very hevaly sedated and paralyzed but she is doing much better.
