Ally's Surgery Followup!

Today Ally met with her Surgeon. He checked her incisions to make sure they were heeling well. They looked great. He said she was breathing ok too. Which made me feel better. She has been coughing and I was worried that she wasn't getting enough oxygen. He told us that she had a 50% chance of another repair and told me that the surgeons were going to have to get more creative on sewing the hole up. He said they might even take some mussel and pull it through her ribs to so it together. Sounds painful. But if we come to that we will have to get it done. He then sent us to get a chest x-ray and told us to come back so he could look at it. The chest x-ray looked great. Ally really is a miracle. With her defect she shouldn't be a live. My aunt works at Primary Children's as an x-ray tech. She told me that there have only been 2 survivors with a Diaphragmatic Hernia as sever and Ally is one of the 2. I am grateful everyday for my little miracle.
