Today I figured out how to make a diaper cake. I have been wanting to make one for a long time. This diaper cake was made of 50 diapers. I made it for my good friend Callie who is having twin boys. At first it was hard to figure out how to hold the diapers together to tie the blue ribbon. I ended up stacking sets of 6 diapers together and tying them with string. I then set them together and managed to tie the blue bow around. I then cut each string off. Bottom layer 6 sets of 6 diapers. Top layer 5 sets of 3 diapers. I rolled the extras into the middle and tied them. Quite the project but way fun. Great Idea for a baby shower.

Those ARE fun to make and I like your idea! I made one for a baby shower I was throwing and got two empty bottles for the middles, then used those clear little hairbands to hold each diaper rolled up and stacked them around the bottle and tied a ribbon around the whole thing. I think I did two rows on the bottom, one row on the middle layer and an even smaller row on the top, so it was three layers tall. Bunches of fun, though and cute, too!
