Gracie is 17 months

Gracie turned 17 months on Dec. 18th.  She has grown so much.  She is way good and fast at crawling.  

She now can neil and has stood up a couple of times.  She is talking a lot too.  Her new words are mom(me), daddy(Josh) pitch of saying it is the same every time she does, dada(Grandpa) mama(Grandma), Baow(ball), doggy(doggy).  She also says thank you, cookie,and makes the snake and dog sound.  Josh said today that she feels a little heavier.  She loves loves dogs, big or small.  She also likes to empty things, clean, and put things away. She is very interested in the broom, dustpan and vacuum.  Before Christmas we gave her a little people nativity.  She loves it and moves it from one movie shelf to the next for hours and hours.  She loves to be held, gives kisses and brush her teeth and hair. She got a baby for Christmas and likes to share her sippy cup with the baby.  She is very obedient and comes when you call. She is such a joy to have in our family.  She now is starting to recognize her head, eyes, nose and mouth.  She loves to beep noses.  She loves the song Head Shoulders Knees and Toes.  She however is having a hard time sharing and is not fond of her baby cousin Michael who can crawl and likes to have the things that she wants.  We will be working on that and I think when she goes to nursery that will get better.  New foods she likes are hotdogs(doggies), and grapes.
