Gracie is 19 months today. Lately she has been extremely clingy and always wants to be held. Its ok most of the time but when I actually have to do something it isn't great. Not to mention she weighs 18 lb. Her new word of the month is Mommy. She will say that all day long. Not really sure that she is referring to me but I always answer. She hasn't really been eating well and has dropped on weight gain. There have been some nasty bugs going around in our neighborhood so she probably caught one of those. She is down to only one nap during the day. She now is walking around furniture and likes that a lot. She loved Zicies tons and always wants to know where the dogie is. I found a fun game that she and I like to play. It is called My First Dog. The game lets you walk, feed, play with, and pet a dog. We try to play it at least once a day. Gracie Loves books. Her new favorites are a bed time book and any book with dogs in it. She sometimes will bring me books that she wants me to read to her. We have been watching the disney Jr. channel a lot lately and she seems to like it. She is great when you take her shopping and always puts what you give her in the cart. Great until she wants to be held. My sister gave me a sling that she never uses. We tried it out yesterday and Gracie liked it. So that might help with the holding her and doing things. She says hi to everyone and says bye to everyone too. She mimics everything I say and asks me what things are. She loves balls and Balloons. She points them out every time we are at the store. We have been putting Gracie's hair in a pony tail on the top of her head. She still plays with it but is getting better. I hope that she starts feeling better soon so that she will eat better. Kind of worried about that.
